It’s been a long hiatus for me this summer from the Lovespun blog. Truth is, I needed to spend the summer focusing on my kiddos and getting settled into our new/old house. We’re still a long long way from finished with it, but isn’t that the general nature of moving into an old home? I did manage to get our door painted a nice candy apple red color this weekend though. {See that big brown monster of a couch needs to go in lieu of something a little more low profile with a 50′s feel…mostly so that it fits in our house! And forgive the coat please, I did zero staging for this photo. And the walls? Yeah, let’s pretend there is stuff hanging on them m’kay?}

So here’s my scoop! I’m going to do my doggone best to blog each and every day. Topics are going to run the gamut but will certainly include all things Lovespun {which is really just about anything and everything that flows out of my heart and onto this blog of into my Etsy shop}! I’ll chat Disney, decorating, designers, fabric, parenting, encouragement, sewing {in no particular order} and just focus on bringing joy to your heart and helping you make “every day adorable” in one way or another. Some days there may well be more than one blog post…so be prepared.
