Once upon a time, I fell head-over-heels in love {in the most non-Biblical sense of the word possible} with fabric. All of the colors and patterns and textures…they became my happy place. Right there in the middle of a sea of fabric-y goodness over at The Fabric Shoppe were these adorably cute bundles by designer AnnKelle. Of course, I had to “Google” her and stumbled across her blog. Her backstory immediately drew me in to a cloud of inspiration and I added her to my RSS feed immediately {which, BTW, you should too!}
A year or so later Kelle {Fun fact: her first name is actually Kelle} posted about speaking at the Amber Housely Inspired workshop in Nashville, TN. On a whim I decided to apply for a scholarship to the event and to my huge surprise, I won! It just so happened that when I arrived at the event I was seated next to Kelle! {How cool is that?! I was a lil starstruck for sure!} Now I am thrilled to introduce this sweet, poised, gracious, kind and lovely lady– Kelle Boyd of Ann Kelle.
{This was "pre" spunky short platinum hair-- just a few months ago!}

Q: Out of all your designs, do you have a favorite? If so, what is it? It’s always changing. But, today I like the my newest Remix designs (sneak peek coming soon on my blog), my Mermaid fabric and any of the Remix designs in the “bright” color way.

My name is Aliza. I am a stay at home mom to two very busy boys aged 4 and 2. We live on a farm in Africa (Zambia) on the shores of Lake Kariba. I am Brigette, and I have used Anne Kelle’s fabric for both of my daughters crib quilts. I love the joy and fun in her fabric. And I love learning on her blog how she fosters thankfulness to God in her life, it really come out in her fabric!
