I haven’t posted the before pictures of the sewing room/sun room yet, but I think that today is the day to share. I fell in love with this little space as soon as I walked in. In fact, if this room hadn’t been a part of the house, I’m not sure that we would’ve jumped to make the purchase. But it was– and despite a few teeny tiny surprises today, I am still as excited as a kid in a candy store about what this space will look like when it’s all finished.
Now for the hidden treasure we found in here today. My dad and sweet hubs set out to disassemble the wood burning stove and pull out the tile. But unsurprisingly, nothing is ever easy, right? I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves.
One day of work has turned into a week’s worth! Uh oh…so much for the carpet being installed on Tuesday. Um…one of these days we will get to move in. Oye.
Thank you manly men! The things you will do for a sewing room. Bless your hearts. I owe you both a day at the spa– or something like that!
Hopefully your Memorial Day weekend is full of bbq’s, family and friends. Ours is full of sledgehammers, polyurethane and dust. LOTS of dust. Next year you’re all invited over for a cookout!
